Developing music philosophies based on the director's own music education experiences, T.A.C. has developed a teaching style that incorporates an emphasis on the essential fundamental techniques of piano playing with a necessary blend of fun and enjoyment. Without this key component, music students often lose interest and talent can be needlessly lost. Young beginners (age 8 recommended) are guided with visual aids and games to stimulate a budding thirst for music and a continued interest in lessons. Parents will learn to participate with take-home activities that will allow them to grow with their young musician (no musical experience is necessary). Students of all levels are given a rounded musical education both at and off of the keyboard. Explorations and teaching of rhythm, ear-training and improvisation are taught using a wide array of percussion instruments which inevitably, are always a crowd pleaser at any age.
Students have the opportunity to prepare for examinations of The Royal Conservatory of Music.
Have you always wanted to learn to play the piano? Adult beginners are welcome as well!
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, piano lessons are offered virtually.
